Practical freight planning from China

CBM calculator

Calculate the cubic volume of identical packages. Use the outside dimensions of the finished carton, pallet, or crate.

Enter dimensions to calculate.

The calculation

Length × width × height (cm) × quantity ÷ 1,000,000 = cubic metres (CBM).

Example: 60 × 40 × 50 cm × 10 cartons = 1.20 CBM. For mixed package sizes, calculate each group separately and add the results.

What this estimate does not include

This is geometric volume, not a freight rate, chargeable weight, or container loading plan. Non-stackability, new packaging, carrier rounding, and handling limits can change booking requirements.
